SUmmer Camp 2015 jpeg

The camps will start at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. and run Monday through Friday for TWO consecutive weeks. We will also be offering parents the option of early drop off at 8:00 a.m. and a later pick up at 3:30 p.m. for an additional fee.

Each camp will have a maximum of TEN students, so that each camper can receive individual attention. Two Student bands of Five will be formed according to skill level, with Instructors Mike Martin and Marty Fouts at their side.  If you don’t own an Instrument, no problem. The Factory has plenty of instruments that will be available to use.

During week one of our Rock Band Camp,  campers will pick the name of their band, learn a song, pick an instrument to play and rehearse on the Factory’s stage.

Week two will be spent rehearsing and having a great time with bandmates. On Friday of week two, it’s SHOWTIME. After all, What would the Factory’s Rock Band Camp be without a concert?  Campers will take to the St. Pete Music Factory stage for a Grand Finale Concert for parents, family and friends! Pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

The camp cost is $200.00 per week. The early drop off and late pick up fee is $35.00 per week. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own lunch. Bottled water will be provided.

The dates for our SUmmer Rock Band Camp are as follows;
June 15th- June 26th

As we said, spots are limited to just TEN campers per session, so please sign up early by calling 727-520-ROCK.

This Camp is perfect for kids who have no experience playing a musical instrument or for those who maybe have had played in their school bands during the year. During the week, the gang will be given their own Ukulele and book to KEEP as their own. The great thing about the Ukulele is that kids can get up to speed and strumming chords on it in a manner of hours. Plus, the nylon strings are much easier on their finger tips then a regular guitar. At our Camp, they will go through the basics and start learning chords on the uke on day one. The kids will pick the songs THEY want to learn from their supplied song book. On Friday, the entire Uke camp will be take the Factory stage and perform the songs they’ve learned during the week.
